During Ryan's final semester in university, a medical condition heavily impacted his physical and mental wellness. During this time, he came into contact with Clare Tattersall, the Undergraduate Engineering Services Manager. The support that Clare gave him during this time was one of the biggest contributors for Ryan's success.
Some students do not seek in-person support and they go through tough experiences without telling anyone. He wanted a way for students to have access to the support Clare gave him anywhere, 24/7. He wanted to extend Clare's reach. With the collaboration of Clare, Ryan, and Trevor; Zealy was born.

Trevor Paterson graduated The University of Guelph with a Marketing Management Degree. Trevor has a passion for entrepreneurship and fitness and health.
Clare Tattersall is the Engineering Undergraduate Services Manager at Western University. She holds a master's degree in English Language and Literature and a certificate in Global Career Development Facilitation. Clare is a trained facilitator for the Leader Effectiveness Training Program and is a Qualified Administrator for the Intercultural Development Inventory.
Clare has a passion for helping students. She helps students' become more resilient by educating them on positive coping strategies and by giving them resources and the support they need. She also has a blog called Less Stressed Students.
